If there are people standing in the glitch spots there are two ways to hit them.
If your target is standing in the glitch spot on the bridge and you are not on the hill/bridge, you have to position yourself to be in the open area in front of the bridge, on the side that your target is standing on. You will find that you won't be obstructed. If you and your target are both on the bridge, you have to push right up onto the side of the bridge (the same side as your target), you will find that there is a line along the edge of the bridge that you can hit your target from (it is actually the line of the glitch spot).
Basically, if you take the map in uw to be the area you can move around, with walls etc as obstructions. Imagine that the actual walls (which your arrows will hit if obstructed) are a few inches closer to the middle of the bridge than is shown in-game. So basically, you can move in the space that you see in uw, your movement is bound by the visible boundaries such as the bridge. But on the bridge, there is an invisible wall a few inches closer to the middle of the bridge that obstructs arrows.
Imo, just test it out next time someone is in the glitch spot. It doesn't take long to figure out exactly how the glitches work. Btw, standing in the glitch spot (as a caster) on the bridge is pretty retarded unless the rspikers are actually on the bridge with you. I've been dshotted a few times by the ghost while standing in the glitch spot with the ghost in the open area below me

Thank you very much for explanation.
Does this glitch exist only in UW or it is "common" bug for bridges in game? I mean - is there any way to test this outside UW/HA? Like in some specific Guild Hall.

So, should I assume that you checked it already and this specific bridge has the same glitch as the one in UW?
Or you are just giving me example of bridge to check because Isle of the Dead is your guild's GH and you saw a bridge there.

The same thing can happen on the bridges in Fetid and Temples too. As someone mentioned it is definitely a glitch that can happen on all bridges because it regularly happens on GvG and arena maps with bridges too. The trick to hitting through it in my experience is moving around to shoot parallel with the bridge, you just have keep nudging around until you find the right spot and it's not necessarily the closest spot. If you can picture the x's being the glitched player and yourself.
-------------------bridge
x<----x
-------------------bridge
Fortunately, the only time this should really be a problem is if an oath shot spirit spammer knows about it and conceals himself and the spirits in the glitched areas. Other than that it's usually just one player griefing.

Didn't U know? The only way to beat rspike is to abuse glitches... (That's how balanced the build is)

Its quite common, occurs on stairs too if you stand in the right spots (Usually right at the sides). Ive seen it happen so many times i couldn't pin point a single location in a certain map. Its happened on alot of them and as far as i know its been around forever. Try not to spike people on stairs and bridges if you can.

If somehow we got raped by an rspike I always get into a glitch with my monk and laugh at the noob rspikers who cant kill me for 10 mins. Bridge bug abuse is fun.

or get a ranger and a mesmer than can interrupt glass arrows/brutal weapon/forked arrow/orders or any of the other half dozen skills that make R spike work.
